In January 2025, Qualia acquired RamQuest and E‑Closing from Old Republic.¹ Reported transition‑support windows — about three years for RamQuest CCE and about one year for RamQuest One — come from industry consultants, not from Qualia directly; ask Qualia for your dates in writing.^1b

If your shop runs on one of them, you will be choosing new software. That choice is yours to make on your own timeline — not in a rush, and not by default.

In 2023, Stewart Title went to court after Qualia moved to terminate what Stewart described as a perpetual ResWare license and sought a substantial fee increase; a Texas district court ruled for Stewart in 2024, and the ruling is on appeal.² We raise it for one reason: the durability of your license terms matters more than any feature list. Read them closely, wherever you land.

What it costs to leave.

Ask any vendor, including us, three questions before you sign: What does it cost per year as my team grows? What does it cost to export every file I own? What happens to my data when I cancel? The answers tell you more than the sales call will.
